Local Handyman Finder ("this site") is a free directory of handyman businesses serving Westford, Chelmsford, Lowell, and Littleton, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information is — and is not — collected when you use this site.
We do not operate accounts. The "Request a handyman" form and the "honey-do list" builder run entirely in your own browser: they draft a message and open it in your own messaging or email app. Nothing you enter there is sent to, or stored on, this site's servers. One exception: the "Claim or correct a listing" form does submit what you type, through Netlify Forms, so the site operator can act on the request. That information is used only to handle the request and is not sold or shared.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically keeps standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are governed by the hosting provider's own privacy practices.
This site does not set its own tracking cookies. Some third-party services described below may set cookies when they load or when you follow a link.
Business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, and ratings shown in the directory are compiled from the businesses' own public listings and websites. If you operate a listed business and want information corrected or removed, contact us as described below and we will act promptly.
This site is a business directory aimed at homeowners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
Local Handyman Finder is an independent directory, not affiliated with or endorsed by any listed business. Listing information was compiled from the businesses' own public listings and may be incomplete or out of date; confirm hours, pricing, licensing and insurance directly with a business before hiring. Any agreement for work is solely between you and the business you hire — this site is not a party to it and makes no guarantee about any business's work. Listings marked "Featured" are paid placements and are always labeled as such.
Questions about this policy or about a listing can be sent to the operator of westfordhandyman.com through the contact option shown in the domain's public WHOIS record (the registration uses a privacy service, which forwards messages to the owner).
